Wisteria 'Shiro Noda'

Profusely flowering connoisseur variety with very long flower clusters (up to approx. 45 cm, also up to 60 cm). Flowers at the same time as the foliage buds, i.e. green colours are visible during the main flowering period. There is hardly any repeat flowering in summer, and there is no foliage colouring worth mentioning in autumn. 'Shiro Noda' is suitable for facades and pergolas if there is sufficient space for the very long flower clusters. This variety has probably been cultivated in Japan for 500 years and is highly revered. It has a medium-strong, but not necessarily pleasant fragrance. 'Shiro Noda' twines round to the left ("clockwise"). Seeds poisonous.
