Blooms very profusely even when young, scores with good re-flowering and sometimes yellow autumn colouring. Therefore particularly suitable for cultivation in planters! Flowers up to approx. 25 cm long, timed to coincide with foliage emergence, i.e. light green colours are also visible during the main flowering period. "Domino" is of course also suitable for facades and pergolas. The variety was brought to Europe by the Japanese plant dealer Koichiro Wada around 1935, has a rather weak scent and usually twines round to the left ("clockwise"). Poisonous seeds.
For location, pruning, training, climbing aids, structural damage, etc., see "Asian" wisteria.
