Application

Special mount for medium "classic" kits and 3 mm cable for special facades. For strong special facades like strong slab construction (panel building) materials and boards (linings/claddings such as plywood panels, MDF panels, etc..), each starting from approx. 20 mm thickness.

Also for (double) wood panels from approx. 35 mm total thickness or for simple wood panelling, but attachment then only in areas lying behind battens so that a total material cross-section of 35 - 50 mm is available. Only suitable for wood paneling where the panels are connected to each other by tongue and groove or other plate-like means and is correspondingly rigid. Nail or screw down if necessary. In extreme cases, bending buckling loads of approx. 120 kg occur on the wall mount; the corresponding bending torque must be absorbed by the respective surface with as little deformation as possible. For simple or crosswise (if needed, also for a triple) cable guidance. Not for edge/border areas due to the expansion pressure; minimum distance from edge approx. 15 cm. The distance from mount to mount should preferably not exceed 1.5 m. Please refer to the information on cable 'cross' mounts for support in selecting cable mounts.

Recommended Tools

The universal drill cassette UB 77777, especially the 12 mm drill, is recommended for accurate dowel holes.

Mounting

If necessary please refer to the instruction manual on drilling. Drill a hole with a diameter of 12 mm and a depth of 65 (to 70) mm. For optimal sealing, the surface should be reasonably flat or made so (sanded down). The already completely pre-assembled spacer is inserted into the cleaned drill hole, if necessary slightly driven in (figure 05) until the rubber seal (gasket) comes in contact with the wall. The black guide sleeve must sit tightly. If the mount is inserted only with difficulty, the hole can be widened (to approx. 12.5 mm) by applying lateral pressure/slightly tilting the drill. If the drill diameter turns out to be too big, turn the plug (dowel) a little closer/tighter before inserting it. By slightly bulging the guide sleeve, a better 'grip' on the drill hole wall is made possible, and the element does not then rotate when tightened. Then, with an open-ended wrench, grasp the mount on the double nut, and turn (figure 06). The wrench must engage the wide front nut. After a few turns -- clockwise as when inserting an ordinary screw -- the inner metric plug begins to spread open, recognisable by the squeezing together of the guide sleeve protruding on the outside (expansion indicator - Fig. 06). If the plastic sleeve coming through is completely squeezed (figure 07), the mount is still aligned according to the cross-grooves. Further assembly is carried out as described for medium kits.

Special Features

The wall mount WM 10083 may be detached (unscrewed) from the anchoring (rawl plug) again.
