Wire Rope Trellis System 1060

Assembly sketch for wire rope system no. 1060

Like our 1030, this is also a single strand system, but since a single horizontal line without vertical ropes is rare, we've treated it here by itself. These single-cable systems are suitable for narrow, horizontal wall strips and similarly cramped or restricted situations. Of course, several single strands can also be grouped on top of each other when needed (see below). But do take into account the 'ladder effect' such a construction creates, where the cable system can be climbed (for example, by a child or vandal), and thus damaged. For choosing a suitable construction style for your plant, refer to the guideline charts provided under Climbing Plants (at the bottom of each plant profile).

Mounting Mounting Mounting Mounting Mounting

Our pre-assembled kits are suitable for all wall types, with the exception of walls with outer insulation, cladding, and thin-walled concrete elements. Alternatives can be put together in all cases.

Breadth: max. 3 m (with a heavy / massive kit- 3.6 m)

Variations: The basic form is expandable with more cable and mounts; for differing lengths: the systems 1020, 1040, and 1050 can be used, or extra components can be put together from our online shop. Please note, however, that with horizontal ropes, the maximum distance from mount to mount should be shorter -- about 1.5 metres. With a heavier kit (heavy or massive style) -- about 1.8 m. System 1060 is also combinable in any number of ways, and is an alternative to systems of the 4000- category or to 8010. If no interlinking and closed wire frame is wanted, an arrangement like 8010 is less expensive because some inter-mounts are not needed and are substituted with free-floating cross clamps.

Installation: as shown in the diagrams. Please see the mounting tips above (you'll find more details by clicking on the green link of each kit name: Easy, Light, Medium...).
