Climbing rose "Rotfassade"

Introduced by Noack Rosen in 1997, ADR predicate in 1999, a simple but completely mildew-free rose with open flowers that usually appear in clusters and are popular with insects. "Red Facade" also blooms in partial shade with at least 3 - 5 hours of sunshine daily. As its name suggests, it is particularly suitable for walls. Its vigorous growth makes it interesting as graffiti protection and the glossy leaves have a decorative effect. What's more, "Rotfassade" has a long foliage life and is almost evergreen in mild climates. Pruning the dead clumps encourages new flowers to form.
