Climbing rose "William Baffin"

Bred in 1974 by Mrs Svejda in Canada. There are more beautiful roses, but this one is extremely frost-hardy, down to minus 40 degrees! It can grow virtually anywhere in Germany, even in the mountains. It grows to a height of 3 metres. A healthy rose with flower clusters that appear in June and again in late summer and are probably more open in cooler regions than in the photo taken in Sangerhausen, see below. "William Baffin" also flowers in partial shade. In autumn, the rose bids farewell with yellow foliage. This variety is very vigorous and needs tight pruning!

For location, pruning, training, climbing aids, etc., see "General information".
