Wire Rope Trellis System 9020

Combined basic form. Under the system 9020, designs are combined in which several climbing fields are connected at the top with a concisely locking transverse cable, without additional outside cable mounts. A continuous cross-section within the lower range is however not planned for here. Such an arrangement can frame one or more openings, and it is irrelevant how many fields are connected. The classification as 'cable system' is intended to give an exemplary construction manual for these and similar arrangements. For support in choosing your size/style, refer to the tips under Climbing Plants (charts at the bottom of each plant profile).

Dimensions: Usually this system is used for longer areas of a ground floor with only a narrow strip of wall over the windows. The arrangement of the ropes between windows, etc.. is carried out according to the scheduled planting of these fields as single "basic forms" (treated in accordance with the overview for each form). The distance between the cables, the number of intermediate mounts, etc.. must be determined accordingly. Use system 9020 if the planned upper horizontal cable doesn't jut out to the left and right (no protrusion), regardless how far. If there are longer horizontal rope sections of over 1.5 m above the windows, intermediate supports must be used, such as at the 3rd and 7th stopping points in the horizontal row from the left (as shown here). If, on the other hand, the horizontal rope is still to lead out over the outer vertical ropes, you will find suitable building instructions under number 9010. If a lower connection is planned, look to the information under 9030.

Required Parts:

You can arrange lightmediumheavy und massive kits together. Easy kits are possible, but the rope guide and cable clamps can be a bit confusing. Please refer to the guidelines in the section on Climbing Plants (also for support if needed in choosing a kit). Depending on the arrangement, you'll need the following:

Installation: as shown in the diagrams; please also refer to the mounting tips (in chart above). Basically, all exterior and long cable sections are laid first, followed by the shorter and more interior sections.
