Vertically oriented form, versatile, especially fitting for twining climbers (though not for vigorous twiners like wisteria). The fan-shaped base provides an ideal guidance and distribution of plant shoots on the climbing field, emphasises its upward growth, and in some cases, conceals the balding in the base area. Refer to the individual climbing plant pages to select the correct size and style of cable system. (see charts at the bottom of each plant profile).

The pre-assembled kits are suitable for all wall types with the exception of walls with external insulation, cladding, and thin-walled concrete elements. Alternatives can be put together in all cases.
Height x Width: max. approx. 4.0 m x 1.2 m (6.0 m x 1.4 m with heavy/massive kits). Base approx. 0.5, 1.2 m above the ground, distance between the vertical ropes approx. 25 -60 cm depending on plant species and desired leaf density; if necessary, also up to 80 cm. With more mounts and cross clamps, the basic form is extendable as desired,;then every 1.5 - 2 m inter-supports (mounts) --or a short "rope bridge" consisting of two brackets and a cross clamp-- should be integrated.
Installation: as shown in the diagrams; please also refer to the installation tips (click above in chart).
Vine Training/Shoot Guidance: See diagrams. For cordon (R-01). It is possible to combine two different vines in one planting pit; then, halve the number of bransches/shoots in the vertical area (R 02). If two vines are guided off-center (R 03), the branches should point inwards and the distance between the vertical ropes should be at least 30 cm. The stems should only be up to 50 cm or so below the top of the climbing field (trellis).
