Wire Rope Trellis System 7010

With this particularly slender, graceful shape, the plant shoots are fanned out from one base point. Trellises with two vertical ropes are used when, due to limited space or cost reasons, three ropes cannot be used and yet more density is needed than one rope can provide. A smaller version (see below) is also possible. To select a suitable construction design, refer to the supportive information in our climbing plants section.

Our pre-assembled kits are suitable for all wall types, with the exception of walls with external insulationcladding, and thin-walled concrete elements. Alternatives can be put together in all cases.

Height x Width: max. ~3.7 m x 0.5 m (5.5 m x 0.7 m with heavy/massive kits), with extension: every 1.5 m - 2.2 m or so incorporate inter-supports (mounts). Distance between ropes: ~30 -50 cm. Trellis base ~0.3 - 0.8 m above the ground.

Installation: as shown in the diagrams; please also refer to the mounting tips (see above).

Vine Training: See diagrams. For cordon with attachment or insertion of the green shoots on the second vertical rope, the shoots/branches should then each point towards the other rope; distance between the vertical ropes-- at least 30 cms (R 01). When forking two vines ('palmette' - R 02) or leading two plants from the same planting hole, (R 03) the branches/shoots should point inwards. The distance between the vertical ropes should then be at least 60 cm. Always lead the stems only up to 50 cm or so below the upper edge of the climbing field.
