Optimal basic shape for creating frame-shaped fields around doors and windows, especially for building entrances around which the available wall area is limited. Offers efficient guidance of the corner areas with diagonally-guided cable rungs / bridges. Rotation of the form by 90 or 180 degrees is possible. For very narrow wall areas, basic form 4050 is a better choice. If wall space allows, system 4060 is generally preferable. Please also refer to the guidelines in our climbing plants section for support in choosing a suitable construction style (see charts at the bottom of each plant profile).

Our pre-assembled kits are suitable for all wall types with the exception of walls with external insulation, cladding, and thin-walled concrete elements. Alternatives can be put together in all cases.
Height x Width: max. ~3.2 m x 3.2 m (4.4 m x 4.4 m with a Heavy / Massive Kit). Distance between the three ropes: ~20 -35 cm; with climbing roses: also 50 cm. Both cable rungs on the vertical ropes are placed at half the height of the middle rope. Base point: ~0.5 - 1.2 meters above the ground. With more mounts and cross clamps, the basic form can be extended as desired (to 4 or 5 parallel ropes). In this case, provide intermediate mounts or short cable rungs (made of two mounts and one or several cross clamps) every 1.5 - 1.8 m or so.
Installation: as shown in the diagrams; please also refer to the mounting tips in chart above (click on a kit for details).
Vine Training: see diagrams. For 2 cordons the horizontal field is overgrown with green shoots every summer (R-01). Bending a stem to the horizontal cordon is also possible (R 02); in the horizontal part of the trunk/stem, then medium-long or long cut is best. If the distance between the climbing ropes is greater (40 cm), the angle trunks (R 03) can also be constructed on two levels (tiers); the upper horizontal rope can then be used as a garland.
