These black locust trellises were designed by the client following FassadenGrün’s guidelines. This applies to both the design and the technical execution, for which FassadenGrün’s comprehensive website was utilised. Closed frames on the trellis, without protruding slats, are typical of this period (Gartenstadt and Art Deco) at the beginning of the 20th century. The black locust timber was supplied in cut-to-size pieces, along with ‘Classic-U’ trellis brackets (AS 10150). In this way, all four sides of the villa were fitted with slatted work to a greater or lesser extent!
