All climbing elements or cable systems at FassadenGrün are deliverable in different styles, as you can see below. You can buy pre-assembled kits, and you can adjust or add to these if necessary. Or, in the section on "individual parts," put together your own personal kit with other wall mounts, parts, etc. If you need help at any time, please feel free to contact us.
Supporting elements should be stable, rot-proof, only slightly heat-conducting and preferably also fireproof. FassadenGrün primarily uses hardwood here. However, if one of the above criteria is particularly important, other materials are also possible for an additional charge, see below.
These can be booked as an additional service if there are high demands on rot resistance, e.g. when renovating old buildings (see above) or if organic materials are not desired for other reasons. Thick-walled pipe profiles made of PVC, POM or PU are used, which have a compressive strength similar to solid wood. Supporting blocs made of PUR foam or other inferior materials will deform in time and shouldn't be used.
Foam glass supports used to be the standard for all XP mounts from Fassadengrün. From 09/2024, foam glass can be booked as a special service if particularly high demands are placed on the insulating effect. This is possible if an energy performance certificate has been drawn up for a building in order to demonstrate a low, passive or zero energy standard and to obtain a corresponding KfW subsidy. If retrofitting a large number of XP brackets would significantly reduce the insulation values of the façade, foam glass brackets can be used. This applies in particular to the large-area supports for XP 12XX5 and XP 12XX9. We use mainly blocs made of cellular glass that have a resistance of 2,500 Mpa, way more than the common PUR foam and its 500 Mpa or similar insulating foams. Even under high loads the cellular glass remains undeformed. Nevertheless, cellular glass has the lowest pressure values of all our supporting elements, which is why only 3 mm ropes may be used here.
Foam glass is "non-combustible" and therefore also suitable for high-rise buildings - please contact us if necessary.
