Use

Wall anchor/fitting for stainless steel trellises with 8.0 mm thick wires. Inexpensive standard holder, for light to medium loads. Wall distance 50 mm. For almost all wall surfaces, such as concrete, natural stone, solid and hollow masonry as well as solid wood and construction panels that are at least 40 mm thick. Please also read the general information on how to correctly install a trellis on a facade.

Recommended tools

For drilingl precise 10 mm holes for the wall plug, we recommend our hammer drill HB 44444 or our concrete drill, inexpensive masonry drill or universal drill. Selection also depends on wall type.

Assembly

Remove the grub screw and keep it in a safe place. Drill a 10 mm hole, 7 - 8 cm deep. You can find instructions on drilling on our drilling information sheet. Insert the plug in the bore hole. (Don't use plugs in solid wood but pilot drill a 6 mm to 7 mm hole). For optimum sealing, the wall surface should be reasonably level (sand it down if necessary). Grease the shaft of the mount and then insert it into the hole, grip the flange nut with an open-ended wrench and screw it in. Align the mount so that the groove is in the correct position until, using medium manual force, you can't turn the mount in further. Once all fittings are fastened, the trellis is inserted in the grooves of the fittings, aligned and fixed with the grub screws.

Specifics

When tightening the nut, the grid fitting must fit tightly and not "wander" out of the hole. Otherwise, the hole was too large for the rawl plug (anchor) or the supporting surface/wall material was too crumbly (e.g. due to drilling in a wall joint instead of in stone/brick/concrete). In this case, unscrew the rawl plug, drill the hole open again, and reattach the plug with VM 00300 composite mortar to seal the mount in the wall. If the wall is made of hollow bricks, you should always use mortar as well as SD 16085 sieve sleeves.

Origin

Made in Germany (Saxony): head from Saxony, disc from North Rhine-Westphalia, plugs from Baden-Württemberg, shaft and small parts are imported.
