A very new and promising variety from Poland and hence in FassadenGrün's Range! According to the expert Robert Krebs this ivy was found in 1996 by two plant scientists (one of whom was Professor Wladzimierz Seneta), in a forest near Nietków. There are many ivy varieties with spotted, “marbled” leaves, but most of them are not frost resistant. However, this is not the case with this variety! In Poland it has survived several times in temperatures of -30 degrees without any damage, it is therefore suitable for small to medium-size house walls. Develops adhesive roots but can also climb on trellises etc. Please refer to General Information for ivy.
