Extremely long four-edged carbide hammer drill bit with SDS-Plus holder, type 'X-Tron', drilling diameter 16 mm, total length 450 mm, working length (max depth) 390 mm. Four-bladed (double cutting edge and 2 secondary cutting edges in one solid carbide piece), precise drilling thanks to centering tip, no pre-drilling required. Compared to double-edge drill bits, there is an increased service life and reduced risk of breakage, especially with rebar hits in concrete. 4 flutes for the easy removal of drilled material. Use
High-performance tool for professional use in hammer drills up to 5 kg. For assembly of Heavy Kits in ETICS (up to max. of 24 cm insulation thickness) with reinforced or non-reinforced concrete, masonry, natural stone, and similar materials. For hollow bricks, aerated concrete and possibly even in normal 'bricks' - to be drilled without percussion. Not for wood. Cleaning boreholes with a hole brush and blower allows for high adhesive forces and is essential for professional bonds with composite mortar. Special Features
For this long drill bit, a shorter 16 mm hammer drill must be used to pre-drill the hole to a depth of at least 3-5 cm deep. With prolonged use (many drill holes), additional grease must be applied to ensure sufficient lubrication of the drill chuck.
