Turnbuckle made of stainless steel A4, maritime design, representative, closed construction with thread hull, with right and left-hand thread M5, length approx. 160 -220 mm, instep way max. 6 cm, breadth of the two forks after rank approx. 6-7 mm, clevises welded with a mutual jet locking nut.

Mostly in the maritime area. For wire and wire-cable to approx. 3 mm diameter. Wire and wire trellises as clamping and adjustment item, also at free-standing wire frame. The forks can be hooked directly, so without additional connecting elements in all FassadenGrün wall eyelets. Ground anchors with a round ring (eyelet) is necessary as a link. With high perpendicular ropes one should consider whether a turnbuckle is inserted above or below. Below the tension adjuster is better attainable, if must be retightened. An installation high up is preferred however as tamper-proof as apposed to the public street area. If necessary, it is possible permanently to seal the lock nuts with a fixative / adhesive, against untwisting, which makes more difficult or retightening impossible. Before the installation of the shroud tension adjuster the locknuts are loosened and turned up to the thread forks. Then the forks are screwed so far out that their threaded shanks still stand in about 1 to 1.5 cm in the closed clamping sleeve. For the subsequent installation of the entire rigging screw in the cable path, ie. into prepared cable loops or wall mounted eyelets, the pins may need to be removed and bolts tightened from the forks. Often it is however simplest to manufacture the rope loops directly locally at the undegraded screwing tension adjuster. The installation into the rope process should take place in such a way that rope and/or wire is already easily tightened thereby. Then final stretching with few revolutions of the clamping sleeve can be achieved.  In addition a spike, nail, or the like is put by the center of the case and the case thereby is turned so that both thread forks are evenly pulled inward. Both forks are then screwed in into the hull approximately with half a reach which also conveys a harmonious sight. Moreover, if necessary, tension way still is sufficient and available for a later adjustment. Last, the two thread nuts are screwed close and countered there tightly to the hull again. The adjusted tension is fixated with that.


Special Features

Cable systems from FassadenGrün are usually conceived  for reasons of  thrift and the installation of clamping elements is unnecessary. Easy kits or many points of deflection and also long single ropes without decoupling the rope sections (i.e. without cross holder) screw clamping fixtures are sometimes recommended. The number of tension adjusters in a trellis system can be limited by reasonable arrangement and the  networking of cables. It is usually possible to connect at least two ropes together on deflection and install the tensioner in their midst - quasi responsible for both ropes .
