Examples of bamboo grids with plants

"A quick move" - you can build your own trellis easily and quickly using bamboo sticks. Bamboo trellises can guide climbing plants on walls or can be planted in a pot and used as a standing trellis in the garden. Bamboo trellises are also available ready made on our website! The resilience of bamboo grilles is determined by the ground that they are in contact with and the moisture levels: when in contact with soil, bamboo rods will last 5 to 6 years. Dry they'll last easily 15 years and more... You'll find example pictures of bamboo trellises on this page, as well as general information.

What plants can a bamboo trellis be used for?

Bamboo grids are particularly good for smaller climbing plants, like those in the photos, e.g. clematis and all kinds of permanent bloomers. A bamboo trellis can be used for any kind of plant if it is solid enough - especially potted plants on balconies and terraces.

Fastening the trellis to a wall

For large trellises with thick bamboo poles we recommend you can use our range of trellis holders. With small bamboo grilles the best solution would be to build a small cantilever with a sunk head screw, a small bolt or wall hook, on with the trellis is then attached with a piece of cord.
