The aim of this project was to restore the historic appearance of the listed building as faithfully as possible. The trellises played a crucial role in this. The original design of the trellis for one of the four façades was known from a historical view. For a second façade, the grid patterns were adapted accordingly. In collaboration with the client, FassadenGrün developed the ‘Classic-U’ trellis bracket (AS 10150) and used it for the first time on this project. As a special feature, the metal parts were painted black (anthracite) in keeping with the historical model.
