A façade plant that doesn't form any annoying adhesive roots or feet, but doesn't need a climbing aid either! Unlike ‘Skogholm’ and ‘Coral Beauty’, however, it is only deciduous. However, the branch structure with its herringbone-like branching is also a feast for the eyes in winter thanks to its ornamental shape.
Position in full sun or partial shade (even full shade can be okay). There are no special soil requirements, but it shouldn't be too dry. Resistant to urban climates, tolerates even heat, drought and wind. Distance between plants: 1.2 - 2.5 metres.
Rambler from China, weak, spreading growth, without thorns. Grows up to 20 cm long each year. Small, dark green, glossy leaves, rich flush of light pink flower stars in May-June (insect food), decorative red fruits well into winter (bird food). Pruning is usually not necessary and if it is, it is very well tolerated.
