Structural design or detailed design: Due to the large width of the trellis, the horizontal rails were divided into several sections.

The prefabricated and pre-painted components of the trellis are mounted on the wall

Following the 2009 winter pruning: The now extensively branched 'Muskat bleu' vine was pruned using the 'long cut' or 'flat arch' method.

Special features

This trellis made of black locust wood was designed by FassadenGrün for a client and subsequently installed on a building dating from the 1920s. The installation was also carried out by FassadenGrün. The trellis serves as a classic vine trellis. It was fixed to uninsulated masonry using simple AS 06120 trellis anchors, and the slats were painted with ‘Schwedenrot’.
